Spanish Modern

This classic Spanish style home was overgrown and needed an update. The client wanted to go modern so we created our own version of Spanish-Modern and added a touch of whimsy.

Since this is a small yard and the path would be dominating and dividing most of the space we decided to make it very visually interesting by creating a broken brick mosaic infilled with decomposed granite.

Plants on either side create a robust garden.

Strategic pots and Garden balls offer year-round visual interest.

The lounging area is a poured in place concrete bench that corners the existing Saltillo patio.

Firepit, built-in bbq, and dining table finish off space.
